A Summer Built For Memories

This year, summer in Seabrook will be unlike any other with several exciting new additions opening including a full-fledged market, an outdoor heated pool, and more. When it comes to summer vacations for families, friend groups, couples, or solo travelers, everyone can have the getaway they’ve been dreaming about, from outdoorsy and adventurous, to leisurely and luxurious.

Stress Less & Pack Light

Every stay starts with finding the perfect vacation rental. Seabrook offers more than 275 homes of all sizes – from beachfront to the bustling town center, and the serene farm district. Guests will find everything from small cottages that sleep two, to homes suitable for up to 22. They vary in size and style, and include amenities such as private hot tubs and barbecues, pet-friendly lodging, fire pits, extended outdoor spaces, EV charging stations, and outdoor showers.

Guests can choose a home location to best fit their needs – close to the playground for littles who can’t get enough of the slides or zipline, near the pool for swim lovers, or beachfront for those that want to bask in the ocean view. It’s a great feeling to settle into your home away from home knowing everything you want is close by.

Vacation rentals come stocked with resort-style amenities including kitchenware, bedding, towels, and starter amounts of laundry detergent. Several homes are stocked with board games, video games, beach toys, and baby gear which reduces the list of extra items to pack up for the trip. Many vacation rentals have virtual tours on their pages, so your little ones can call dibs on their rooms and beds well before you arrive, adding to the magic of the getaway when it feels like home the moment you walk through the door.

Another way to pack light is by utilizing grocery delivery services, pre-ordered grocery pick up, or grocery shopping once you get into town at  Fresh Foods Market, opening by June of 2023. No more heavy ice chests or having to stop for more ice along the way!

Quiet Mornings & Fun-filled Afternoons

Mornings on the Washington coast beckon deep breaths of fresh ocean air, leisurely strolls, and savoring the peaceful moments with coffee on the porch as the marine layer lifts and the day warms. For the early risers in your crew, Vista Bakeshop offers coffee, pastries, and breakfast items to take home or enjoy in their newly expanded space. This summer, The Stowaway, Rising Tide and The Belfry Café are offering weekend brunch options (permanently closed). Blue Juice & Salad Bar provides the most refreshing juices, smoothies, and bowls to really start your day off right.

Whether your crew wants to start the day off taking it easy at the outdoor Sunrise Pool, shopping the Town Center, heading to the beach, or checking out what expert-in-residence is in town, options are a short walk or bike ride away. Make the day your own with so many activities throughout town to explore, from pickleball and mountain biking, to beach volleyball or your favorite watersports.

When it’s time to eat and you don’t feel like cooking, the growing food scene in town has something for every appetite. From freshly made pizza, tacos, burgers, sandwiches, salads, hot dogs, take-and-go meals, and more, the restaurants offer flavorful dishes and refreshing drinks to match.

Don’t Miss The Weekend Activities This Summer

If you’re staying over a weekend this summer, don’t miss Sunset Concerts in the Sunset Amphitheater every Friday evening and Saturday Markets to shop for everything from home decor to fresh produce. Saturday Block Parties offer yard games, music, and bubble machines.

The Belfry At Seabrook (now The Seabrook Town Hall) is bringing on the fun this summer with Saturday slushies, caramel apple stations, make-your-own ‘dirt cups’, and bouncy houses once a month, along with family-friendly dinner nights featuring everything from crab feeds to noodle bowl nights.

There’s also yoga in Kucera Park on Saturdays, you’ll come away refreshed and centered in no time with an ocean view and the calming sound of the waves in the distance. Visit the events page for all of the summer events: Seabrook Events

A Close-By, Effortless Retreat For Families

Seabrook is built on the principles of new urbanism, making the entire town not only walkable and bikeable, but especially safe for pedestrians. The town makes it easy for the kids to get around on their own, by foot or by bike, and stop in for ice cream or a game of basketball at the park without worries of fast-paced traffic. There are plenty of pedestrian-only trails and promenades throughout town, making it easy to skip from park to park or neighborhood to neighborhood with minimal street crossings.

The location of the town also can’t be beat – a short drive from Seattle and Portland where the last leg of the drive is always the best, with tall trees, good music, ocean views, and snacks (or whatever makes your road trip essentials list).

We can’t wait for this special summer to arrive and for new memories to be made throughout town, from the campfire songs and family dinners, to the evenings watching the unforgettable sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
