The Beachside Author Series

Good books and beach days come together during Seabrook’s Beachside Author Series, returning for its fourth year with monthly author events from September 2026 through May 2027. Over the years, the series has welcomed more than 30 award-winning and bestselling authors from the Pacific Northwest and across the country, bringing readers together through stories, conversation, and a shared love of books.

Hosted by Seabrook and Joie De Livres, each event offers a chance to hear directly from featured guests, ask questions, discover new books, and stick around for a signing. From fiction and design to art, travel, food and drink, and more, every appearance brings a different perspective to the series.

An Afternoon for Book Lovers

While every author brings something different to Seabrook, the series is designed around the same simple idea: creating space for good conversations and connections through books.

Most events include an author conversation or presentation, audience Q&A, book signing, small bites and beverages, with featured books available for purchase through Joie De Livres. Event times, locations, and experiences vary, so check the individual event pages for details.
