The Beachside Author Series Featuring Lauren Gallow

Seabrook’s Beachside Author Series welcomes Seattle-based design writer Lauren Gallow on Saturday, January 30 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Town Hall for an afternoon exploring Pacific Northwest architecture, design, and her new book, New Northwest: Residential Architecture in the Evergreen State (Figure 1 Publishing). Hosted by Seabrook and Joie De Livres, the event will include time with the author, audience Q&A, a book signing, small bites and beverages, and books available for purchase.

Featured Book: New Northwest

New Northwest: Residential Architecture in the Evergreen State explores a new generation of homes taking shape across Washington and the architects reimagining Northwest Modernism for the way people live today.

Through striking photography and stories behind the projects, Lauren looks at the relationship between architecture and the Pacific Northwest landscape, and how thoughtful design responds to place, climate, materials, and the everyday experience of home.
