It’s all in a name, House of WhimSea! Located close to town center and yet uniquely private. The fenced in yard is complete with a bbq grill, outdoor shower, picnic table and chairs. Looking for a backyard game, head to the garage for corn hole. Before heading to the beach, grab the beach chairs and wagon in the garage, dedicated for your use. Your dogs are welcome too!

Inside will not disappoint. Adults will love the upstairs primary bedroom and bath with peek a boo ocean view. Children will enjoy sleeping in their own sunroom equipped with two twin futons. Families will be comfortable in the open concept kitchen and living room with smart TV and expanded cable package.

 

Please be aware that your rental property shares a lot with a carriage house that is owner-occupied or rented to separate guests from your party.

    It says that sleep 4, but really it’s was only for two, owner transformed the porche in a room, with windows and place two small fold up coach, my 15 years old was not even capable to fit in a normal way. Also the place was dusty and not really clean. The main pool water was dirty.

    Cozy, comfortable and clean home perfect for a small family. Fenced yard was great for our dog. Liked being able to hear the ocean at night when the window was open. Great location close to restaurants and shopping. Also just a short walk to the beach.

    We were so excited to come and experience Seabrook and had booked this last minute. I will say the photos of the house does look like how it is in the listing but extremely run down. Pros: • location was amazing - town center was right around the corner • fenced in yard for our 2 dogs • lots of windows for airflow since there is no ac/fan Cons: • lots of things broken/falling apart (fridge drawer, shades, towel holder) • kitchen was not well equipped and the cooking tools they had were slowly falling apart and the pans were all scratched. There was also no pepper or any basic spices at all and the knives were very dull so they were hard to use. • the bed upstairs was very lumpy and not comfortable at all • couch was uncomfortable and itchy, we had to lay a blanket on top of it • Stains on the furniture and lamp upstairs flickers with any movement near it • outdoor furniture could use some TLC Overall, the house served its purpose but I don't think I would book again.

    Family enjoyed our stay in Seabrook. Last minute changes to travel accommodated our new puppy and child who joined us on our trip. Host was responsive and understanding. We’re already planning our next trip back.

    Our check-in process was somewhat less than ideal as there was over an hour delay being granted access to the property due to a cleaning delay. Normally, this would not be a big issue but with kids it caused timing issues with dinner and sleep schedules which rolled all the way into the next day.There are a few maintenance items needing attention, the screen next to the front door kept falling out, all the remote’s requiring AAA batteries were dead, the kitchen had no dish detergent, the hand towel holders are loose.The property would greatly benefit from a fan/ceiling fan, as there is no A/C. This led us to open windows to cool off, however the blinds have all been trimmed too short and don’t rest on the window sill causing them to knock around with even a slight breeze. The furniture, couch/chairs/bar stools/futtons all manage to be uncomfortable or barely acceptable. The bed is pretty comfortable though.These things singularly are all minor but together really detract from the experience. It was clean, other than the couch smelling of dog. The kitchen is well stocked, other than no deterrent. And the location is great.

    The cottage was very clean and just the right size for four people. (The two beds in the sunroom were actually sofa beds.) The location was great — the beach and local shops were just a short walk away. While the beach isn’t visible from the room, we enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom at night, taking in the peaceful view of the surrounding trees and neighboring houses. I accidentally made a double booking with a different property at the time of reservation, but the host handled it promptly and kindly. I’d definitely love to stay here again!

    House was very cute and clean but won’t go there again because the furniture was VERY VERY uncomfortable! You also could not use the TV unless you had subscriptions. Not good on rainy nights. Loved the town though.

    My partner and I had a great stay along with our two dogs. The space was perfect for us. We appreciated the fenced yard, fire pit, outdoor table with an umbrella, and sun room! The location was very close to town center but on a quiet side street. We’d stay here again!
