Fresh. Regenerative. Local.
Committed to regenerative farming practices that help restore the land and promote biodiversity with organic produce grown using regenerative methods. Harvested produce and flowers are shared with neighbors, schools, and Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members.
Just north of the Fernwood neighborhood, Seabrook has partnered with Schultz Regenerative Farm for the past year and a half, transforming open land into a thriving source of local, healthy food.
This first harvest was the result of vision, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart. The Schultz Farm team cleared the fields, invited residents and local businesses to contribute compost, and unearthed life by discovering water 115 feet down for the farm’s well. From there, they built a 36’ x 72’ high tunnel greenhouse, enriched the soil with compost and biochar, and began seeding the future of fresh, regenerative produce for Seabrook and beyond.
What started as an idea to grow good food has become a movement rooted in sustainability, community, and flavor. The first harvest came, and that was just the beginning.
What is regenerative farming?
Regenerative farming focuses on rebuilding soil health, increasing biodiversity, and improving water cycles, resulting in healthier land with every passing season.
Harvest
Harvest is annually from May to November.
The high tunnel extends the growing season, allowing for longer harvests and a head start on the upcoming year. Compost from the community
returns to the soil as healthy produce. Crisp, fresh produce goes into the hands of local school kids in late October, and fresh green
samplers to resident and local business CSA members soon thereafter.
Taste and Try CSA Samplers
Get a taste of what is grown.
During harvest, look for daily produce sales on the honor system at the dedicated farmstand open to guests, visitors, and residents located
by the Windgate Equestrian barn in the Farm District. The team is always excited to share with everyone, including the people who helped
get the farm ‘growing’.
Where to receive CSA samplers: Members receive their produce at a Town Center ‘kiosk’ or doorstep distribution, courtesy of the Schultz Farm team.
