Whether you’ve been a Seabrook fan since its founding in 2004 or are new to experiencing Washington’s Beach Town, you don’t want to miss everything in the works for 2023. This year marks a revolutionary tipping point for the coastal town with a plethora of town-wide updates.

With groundbreaking retail growth, a new pool and fitness center, new parks, new and returning events and other updates, spending time living, working, or playing at the beach is more convenient and better than ever.

Take a look at the exciting changes to expect in Seabrook this coming year:

The Grand Opening Of Sunrise Pool And Fitness Center

Vista Bakeshop’s Expansion —  The highly-anticipated grand reopening of Vista Bakeshop’s expanded space is set to happen this winter. The new space is where SeaWorthy Home (now located on Market Street) was located. The expansion brings with it a new bread program and an expanded menu of café-style eats we can’t wait to experience.

Fresh Foods Market — Set to open by summer of 2023, the beautiful full-service market on Market Street in Seabrook is opening its doors. The 13,000 square foot, multi-level store includes fresh and prepared foods, bringing convenience to a whole new level in town.

The Arcade — Set to open this summer, a retro-style arcade is coming to Front Street.

A Barber Shop — More details coming soon.

A Men’s Clothing and Furnishings Store — More details coming soon.

High Speed Internet — Though fiber optic internet access is already in Seabrook, the Fernwood Neighborhood is going to offer both high-speed wireless internet and fiber optics to make working from the beach more efficient than ever.

Pickleball Courts — New pickleball courts are set to be complete in the Fernwood Neighborhood this year.

The Spoke Café — A full-service bike café is in the works.

Meadowview Park — As Seabrook’s largest park yet, Meadowview Park will be a relaxing destination for the whole family to come and connect with nature. With a commanding view of the Elk Creek stream corridor beyond, it will be a great place to catch some of Seabrook’s most breathtaking sunset views! Seabrook guests and residents will enjoy a large flexible-use activity lawn area that will accommodate a wide variety of casual lawn games as well as serve as a place to host events throughout the year. The park’s carefully oriented pathways will lead one to a series of unique spaces within the park that include an enclosed yoga and meditation garden, a spiraling hilltop mound with sunset viewing firepit, and a unique freeform playspace that is worked into the park terrain. Surrounding these three spaces will be a rolling wildflower meadow that will add to the park’s diversity of flora and fauna.

Trailside Park — The Trailside Park will be the gateway to the trail network that will connect Fernwood to the Farm District and the future neighborhoods. It will be the perfect place to roast s’mores and tell stories around the fire after a great day on the trails.

Fernwood Square — Fernwood Square has already been completed and will serve as a central gathering point for Fernwood neighborhood. Regardless of whether folks are just passing through on their way to the town’s hiking and mountain biking trails, or just sticking around for a tasty treat at the future Spoke Cafe, this plaza will be a great spot to meet new people and take in the Fernwood experience.

Fircrest Trail — Fircrest Trail will be a linear pocket park fronted by four Fircrest house types with spacious front yards from which to watch hikers and bikers enjoying easy access to the DNR trails as well as enjoying a direct connection to the larger Meadowview Park for all kinds of great family-based recreation.
