Now in its third year, the AVA Beach Volleyball Tournament is an annual outdoor event, which raises money for a local charity. Players of all skill levels are welcome to participate in this beachside battle for a cash prize. This year, the tournament will take place from June 15, 2018, to June 17, 2018, on Pacific Beach. If you’re interested in participating, be sure to sign up before June 2, 2018. Anyone not interested in competing should purchase tickets to witness this exciting, fun-filled sporting event!

A Guide to the AVA Beach Volleyball Tournament
The Event
Hosted by AVA, the primary volleyball promoter for Seattle and the surrounding areas, this tournament is a much-anticipated event held on Pacific Beach. Recognized as one of the largest amateur volleyball events, the AVA Beach Volleyball Tournament doles out a total of $10,000 in prizes. Both the Men’s and Women’s Open winner receive $2,000, and all players in the top five will receive a cash prize.
Though cash prizes are only presented to adult divisions, junior players are welcome to compete in the various division competitions. Beginners can play in the Beginner Fun Fours, and families can opt to compete in the Parent/Child games. The weekend-long event kicks off on Friday with a free volleyball clinic hosted by pro players and top coaches.
How You Can Participate
If you’re interested in playing in this popular competition, be sure to sign up before the registration periods close. Register before June 2nd at 6 p.m. to avoid a $20 late fee. Late registration is permitted until June 13th at 6 p.m.
