Welcome to Woodland Cottage!

If you are looking for a quiet, cottage with a Sunroom, Fireplace, west facing front, backyard with a forest view and two levels of seating, you will love to unwind here!!

After a long day at the beach, mountain biking, swimming or tennis/pickle ball, relax in our comfortable two-story cottage. You can sit out front and enjoy the sun while reading a book, or sit on our back deck with a shady, quiet view of the forest. We also have 2 TV’s both with ROKU. You will also find assorted games, books and puzzles.

Woodland Cottage is located in the Madison District and is an ideal location within Seabrook as you are a 5-minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the Indoor Pool, Gym, along with various shops and restaurants. We are also fortunate be located steps away from a covered community gazebo with a fireplace! Here you can enjoy a glass of wine or make your favorite S’mores with the kids.

Woodland Cottage sleeps 6 with a new and very comfortable King Bed in one room and built-in bunkbeds with a Queen on the bottom in the second bedroom. In the private Sunroom, you will also find a Futon (with Full Size Bed). There are some great places to eat in Seabrook but feel free to cook for yourself while here. We have a gas BBQ (no tank required) for your outdoor cooking needs. You will also find all the amenities you might need for any meal.

The upper deck is fenced-in so a pet can roam freely. You will find a tethered leash in the front courtyard as well.

    I can’t even explain how much I loved this house. Close to everything! 3 minute walk to downtown shops and the pool. 7 minute walk to the beach. The house was super cute and cozy

    The proximity to the beach and Seabrook activities is fantastic. The cottage has everything you could need. It may be time for a new internet router as the connection was intermittent to not working at all. Otherwise it was an amazing time.

    Even though we had a rainy stay we loved it. The house gave us all including the dog enough room to hang out. City center close, pool super close and great walks with the dog.

    The house was very clean and we loved the decorations. The appliances were good and the kitchen well stocked The trails were great and the town was very clean. The only dislike was how dead the town was and the hours the storers were open. Only place to eat on Tue. and Wed. was the Pizza place. Will be back for sure. Lovely.

    My kids (5, 10) and our dog enjoyed our stay here. We loved the location and the walkability around Seabrook. The kitchen is very well stocked and the propane fireplace was awesome on the cold and windy nights. The bunk bed mattresses were very comfortable, but the king mattress was not and I would recommend replacing the mattress with a newer one.

    Nice little cottage in Seabrook, and very well located close to town, beach, and the indoor pool. Short walk to the grocery store made it easy to run out for ingredients. Outdoor pool a reasonable and pleasant 10 min walk. Home was clean and thoughtfully stocked, with everything you could need. Only had two minor complaints: the bunk beds were not made with top sheets and comforters but those items were rolled up and put on the bed separately. I’ve never seen this done this way and it was a slight pain to have to maneuver around to get the beds made for the kids. Also, the house smelled strongly of dogs. We don’t have dogs so maybe I’m more sensitive to the smell than most, but it was unpleasant for me. Seems like most places in Seabrook are dog-friendly, so I’m not sure that can be avoided.

    Headline: Serene neighborhood by the ocean, mountain/ocean bike trails. Positive: Quiet location, yet close to main attractions. Made a few meals in a well stocked kitchen and the nearby outdoor fireplace for making s'more's & toasting a celebration was wonderful. House was perfect size for two adults, two teens and a small dog. Negative: Didn’t sleep well for two nights. King bed was excessively soft, sinking in a 180 lbs man deep into the mattress. I weigh 115 lbs and it was way too plush. Same went for our two slim, athletic teens in their bunk beds. Spoke to staff about bringing plywood to harden bed, but no one showed up. The bedrooms were incredibly bright - no darkening window treatments. King bedroom only has a door to open for ventilation (no screen) and no windows. One whole entry/sun room blind was missing. Front steps are uneven and sinking. We were expecting better comforts since this is Seabrook.

    We really enjoyed the house, it’s cute and appeared clean. My dog found a dirty diaper somewhere in the house (bizarre,) we couldn’t open up the couch, bbq wouldn’t start, fridge didn’t work so our good spoiled and we left one night early due to food poisoning. The couch in front of the tv was really uncomfortable when we watched a movie. Even though the above occurred, we still enjoyed our stay. It was very close to town, right in front of the woods and super close to the ocean. We played pickle ball, went swimming at the indoor pool, I was disappointed the outside pool wasn’t open but understand I am not the norm, most people don’t like swimming in cold water. It’s a small town so the prices are high. The Mexican place have wonderful bloody Mary’s and breakfast but there are limited food options within the town. We will definitely be back.
