The Goldfinch
Welcome to The Goldfinch, a family friendly home ideally located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Mill District, near the “Old Cedar Stump'' and Mill Park. This comfortable, well-appointed home is perfect for small families, romantic getaways, and friends weekends.
With direct access to the Gnome trail, a short walk through the beautiful forest has you hitting the sand in no time! The large, covered deck looks out onto the preserved cedar forest which affords plenty of privacy. Enjoy your coffee and the gentle sounds of the ocean from the Adirondack chairs. The picnic table is a favorite spot for an outdoor lunch.
There is also a fenced terrace with an outdoor grill, and more seating options that offers a lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine while children play.
Inside on the main floor you’ll be greeted by a modern kitchen fully stocked with all that you need to serve up a home cooked meal, with many serving dishes for that special occasion or Holiday meal as well.
The living room has a large, comfortable sofa. Curl up in front of the fireplace and read a book, play some games, or watch a movie on the large flatscreen.
Upstairs in the primary bedroom you’ll love the large windows that open up to vast woodland views. There is also a flatscreen for movies and a walk-in closet.
In the twin room you’ll find dark grey iron beds with Euro pillowtop mattresses that are comfortable and sophisticated enough for adults, yet still fun for the kids, especially when they find the big basket of toys tucked in the large closet.
The Goldfinch is a pet friendly home.
