Anchors Away is a beautiful two story home with carriage house located next to the large fenced children’s playground and great walking trails. The large wrap around deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, share a barbequed meal with family and friends and watch the kids stroll by. Relax in the private hot tub or play ping pong in the garage.

Your family can relax in front of the living room fireplace and TV, while others are in the kitchen with an open floor plan enjoying each other’s company. The primary bedroom on main floor has a King bed, large flat screen TV and private bathroom with large soaking tub.

A media room on the second floor joins two bedrooms, each with full bathrooms. In the media room a large selection of board games, books, DVD movies and a flat screen HDTV will keep the kids busy. Next to this room is a hidden kid's play room, fun for the little ones! The bedroom to the North has a fun bunk bed, twin over full size bed. The bedroom to the South has a queen bed and flat screen TV.

For additional guests the carriage house has a queen bedroom, 3/4 bathroom including shower, kitchenette, sofa sleeper and large flat screen TV.

Anchors Away faces the North Alder Park; a perfect grassy area for your family and friends to have a fire and roast marshmallows. Seabrook`s Crescent Park is about a 2 minute walk away where you'll find the new community pool, a large grass field, horseshoes and shuffleboard. In the summer the park has a volleyball net and badminton. There are two community fire pits in Crescent Park, and also toys to play with at the park supplied by Seabrook.

    Stayed here with our in laws + our kids and I feel like we really too advantage of everything Seabrook had to offer. It was an easy walk into town, as well as in the indoor pool. The playground was right behind the house, very convenient! Additionally, we loved using the hot tub and the fire pit in the backyard.

    Highly recommend for a getaway. Ton of family friendly activities, walkable, safe and comfortable. Also could be a good jumping off point for peninsula activities outside of the community.

    The space was great for our group of six adults and five kids. A playground was right behind the house, and everything was walkable. Ample parking and room. Only complaint was that the gas appliances could take awhile to cook our meals.

    We had a wonderful stay at Anchor’s Away! Highly suggest staying here if you have young children. We had 5 kids under 4 between two families and it was perfect. The play room was so useful and the house is located right next to the park.

    We had 2 families staying in the house which worked out great for the bedroom arrangement's. we put all the kids in the bedroom with the bunk bed and an air mattress. The kitchen was tight for the 2 families cooking meals. It would be nice to have laundry soap available. Overall everyone enjoyed their stay at Anchors Away.

    With boys ages 9,7 and 2 years old, they loved the short access to the playground 20 yards from the back gate. The upstairs playroom and couch/media room gave them their own hang out place. The ping pong table in the garage along with plenty of balls, wagons and beach toys kept them busy and all enjoyed the jacuzzi and fire pit. Minor issues were quickly resolved. House is stocked with plenty of good games, cards and interesting books.

    Rugs need cleaned. They are dirty throughout the house. Sink faucets needed cleaned around the base. We cleaned them. Carriage house very musty/moldy smelling. Had to open all windows while there. Cute house, great location, quiet, well stocked. Just needs a good deep cleaning. Excellent service with the property managers.

    We loved our stay at anchors away! We had 2 family’s (5 boys 6 and under between the two). It was a perfect fit for us! The playground is RIGHT behind the house, the garage was stocked with everything we could need at the beach, and the playroom upstairs was so helpful! The house itself has been well loved (definitely visible wear in places), but that didn’t take away from our love of this spot. We would definitely return again!

    Overall the home was great. Seabrook is a pretty cool little town so if you get the chance to visit, it’s worth it! Our home was family friendly and well stocked with everything you need (even tons of kids stuff!) The carriage house (above the garage) was a bit musty smelling.. I assume because it’s above the garage? And the home could use a good deep cleaning but overall we would definitely stay here again. The staff was very communicative and even sent a text with daily happenings in the town. That was a nice touch!

    Anchors Away

    Our first trip to Seabrook was great! Having kids, we appreciated access to the playground and pools and loved the accessibility of the trails/beach. We also loved the home being well-stocked with kids’ books and toys. The adults appreciated the privacy of the hot tub (many homes have theirs in a more public location on their property). Unfortunately, despite messaging for days with Seabrook Hospitality to confirm the crib listed in the amenities was present (and staff confirming housekeeping said it was in the upper bedroom), there was no crib upon arrival. While guest services delivered one within an hour (albeit without a fitted sheet), this was an unnecessary stress — and if we had even a slightly later arrival time and guest services was closed for the evening, it’s unclear what we would have done without a safe sleep environment for our infant. Maintenance was also very prompt in coming to address a hornets’ nest after our toddler was stung while playing on the side porch.
