Description

A 'slack tide' is when the ocean is at its most calm. We’ve designed our cabin to give you that same feeling—a true escape from the rush of everyday so you can slow down, recharge, have fun, and indulge yourself.

 

Ideally positioned on a corner lot in with wrap-around porch and back patio, Slack Tide gives you the Best of Beach Camp and the simple luxuries of high-end furnishings with a decorator’s touch:

    • Snuggle into sectional or curl up in the swivel armchair next to the gas fireplace.
  • Skylights, a vaulted ceiling, and lots of windows create the perfect ambience for reading, playing board games, visiting with friends and family…or just ‘slacking off’.
    • Unplug entirely or enjoy all the technology: 100mbps high speed internet, TV with Roku streaming, BluRay, and Bluetooth connected sound system.
    • Share a romantic dinner for 2 at the gorgeous dinner table…or open it up to comfortably seat the whole gathering.
    • Private patio with new Adirondack chairs surrounding your own gas firepit, and awesome hammock for relaxing and napping
  • The master bedroom has a queen bed with new super comfy memory foam mattress.
  • Climb the ladder to the loft with twin beds and bean bag chairs for campers of all ages.

 

But in the end, we’re all here for the full beach experience:

  • Seabrook has one of the best beaches on the NW coast—miles of wide, flat sand.
  • The beach, town, and indoor pool are an easy 5 minute stroll.
  • Enjoy morning coffee on the back patio or an afternoon sunny snooze in the hammock

To say staying here was peaceful would be an understatement. 
 
Our family of four had the pleasure to stay a few days at Slack Tide. This house was a perfect retreat for us. The home is almost hidden on one end of the Beach Camp. The interior was refreshingly clean, welcoming and gave off a beach vibe.
After settling in, we roasted marshmallows on Slack Tide's private outdoor fireplace, chatted, and listened to the sounds of nature from the forest. 
It was an all-around great get-a-way to comfort, peace, and connecting with family.

Great stay here at Slack Tide! We really enjoyed our visit. We came over from Seattle for two nights and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. The updated furniture added a great touch, and the mattress felt new and comfy. The couch was clean and comfy as well. There is also so much room for a family to stay, with the upstairs having two extra beds. Walking distance from the center of the town (about 4 min) and from the beach (about 8-10 minutes) this is a great little house for a getaway on the coast. Everything was clean and organized when we arrived. We couldn’t ask for a better stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We LOVED our time at Seabrook. We LOVED the book provided with the Slack Tide Cabin, it told us so much about Seabrook and also what to see north, south and east of Seabrook. We loved the availability of Restaurants, Groceries, Gift Shop, Bakery, etc. sorry we missed the opening of the candy/ice cream store. The little Cabin (Slack Tide) was right in our budget and we appreciated that. While everything is beautiful there, it was nice to be able to visit knowing there was something affordable for us there.
