What you'll experience:
Listen to the experts talk about the marine creatures that live just below Seabrook's beach (literally!). Together, we'll get to look up-close at native and non-native species, mammals and invertebrates, all of which call the waters of Seabrook home. We'll examine changing fishing and industrial practices and the way that animal inhabitants have changed over time. What does a squid look like? What does baleen feel like? Come and check out specimens from the Coastal Interpretive Center Museum!
Marvel on the many bird species that call Seabrook home. You'll get an up-close look at birds of prey, migratory birds, and endangered birds with specimens from the Coastal Interpretive Center Museum. Learn about changing logging practices and how environmental changes have (and continue to affect) resident and migratory bird populations. Ever looked an owl in the eyes?
