We have not been here for more than two days, but the amount of relaxation that I feel here is much more than I would have expected. I wish I could flee my hectic life at home and live here in Seabrook – free to wander the quaint little streets and the beautiful beach! My favorite part about Seabrook? – the fact that my cell phone doesn’t work here, and the fact that I want to drink every color, sound and smell in. Hopefully, I’ve captured a little peace to tie me over until my next visit. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage!

As an artist and designer, I appreciate spaces that are visually pleasing and functional. This home fits the bill well on both accounts. My pastor husband says it is very renewing for him as well!

We would like to thank Shell Cottage, our wonderful host, for what can best be described as one magical weekend akin to something out of a Tolkien fantasy. We had the honor of participating with the self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest Bocce Player” (though the title may be in dispute in the nether regions of Tanking). Bring kites to the beach and you will soar with the gods. We learned you should never over-season shish kabob. Speaking of season, Shell Cottage has none, for it is perfect anytime of year. Treat yourself to some delicious “s’mores” on the fire outside, tell tales of bocce immortality, and drink from the cup, rather the wondrous chalice that is Shell Cottage. Call your Antie Fancy on and bid her bonjour. The mysteries of life are solved. We salute you Shell Cottage! All of our love.

Shell Cottage is darling! It is very comfortable and fun for our whole family. Our boys loved the fireplace outside – s’mores galore. We ate at the café both nights – great wine. Seabrook is the best thing around and I would recommend future visitors to stock the kitchen and enjoy the café and enjoy this community. Thanks for an amazing family vacation! Wish you much happiness. Such a beautiful and interesting contrast from my home on the Mississippi River. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to your lovely Cottage.

The price of gas to get her was $4.39 per gallon. The price for three days of food (including our anniversary dinner) was $68.00. Our three-day stay here – priceless! Everything was great here. When we first booked this place, we were not sure what we would find. When we got here, we found “Northwest Paradise”. This is a lovely Cottage and we love the kitchen and breakfast bench. It is very inspirational! Thank you! We hope to come back sometime soon!

Leaving the routine, traveling from the inland heat – was welcome. We enjoyed the moist air, the gray clouds and fog. It was all very refreshing. Lots of sand here, forming pathless walkways. The sea was wonderful and ominous. It feeds the senses and the soul with its primal naturalness. It has been an inviting experience. We enjoyed the sea gulls and sandpipers – flocks, interesting to watch. Personal identity fades. Old and young are on the yellow bikes. Sometimes the bikes are red and white. People are walking leisurely in a friendly manner. I took lots of walks with my wife and son. We are glad to be here. It is quiet. There is much solitude. We are grateful – a wonderful vacation! Charming Cottage! It is a beautiful place. We had a wonderful time at Seabrook!

I had a very awesome time in Seabrook and this little home! The beach is so fun. You can find sand dollars. I found a couple fish, if you dig shrimp! It was beautiful 2-3 days. It rained once but it was good weather. Overall it was an extremely fun vacation. I hope to come back next summer.

Second day now of torrential rain, but where I’d rather be. With a two year old the Shell Cottage is a must! No hotels would contain her! Thank the lord we came here! Tonight after a couple of bottles of wine and an epic comeback for the ages in Monopoly, I am at peace for the first time in a long while. Away from the downtown Seattle job, the corporate tie, the hustle and bustle of life with a career and family. A few days by the ocean, rain or not, was a much needed rejuvenator for the soul. Thanks again Seabrook for showing me what’s truly important in this world. Forever grateful!

Thank you for sharing your lovely Shell Cottage. Spent a lovely week exploring Seabrook and the surrounding area. Had more good weather than rain. Most exciting event was razor clam digging on the beach. Dug a limit of 15 clams. Went to Ocean Shores for the food bank auction fund raising dinner and had a delightful dinner with local residents. Roasted marshmallows with our son the evening he spent here with us. Great memories from when he was young. We’ll return to Seabrook. PS. have not been on a bike in over 20 years, love the beach bikes.

Lovely weekend! The cottage was perfect and cozy for three adults and a dog. Love the colors and design of this place.
Seabrook is a great family destination and I am sure we will be back. We ate at patty’s perch in pacific beach and the food was great, fresh fish if you go early. Doesn’t look like much outside, but down home cooking.

When I booked our weekend in Seabrook for our family I had no idea what we were in store for. What a treat. We absolutely loved the Shell Cottage. Our navy family was in need of a relaxing weekend together as my husband gets ready to deploy. The quaint cottage was good for our souls. We enjoyed the trails to the beach. My boys played in and on the big tree trunks on the edge of the forest. Every night we roasted s’mores. The vintage bikes were a treasured treat for us all. This place is Utopia~ people walking around happy, riding classic old time bikes, with not a care in the world. What a place to come to sit near the ocean and take it all in. Thank you for opening up your cottage and giving us a little piece of heaven.
