It was stormy, then clear, then stormy, then clear… We played Sequence, roasted marshmallows, hot tubbed in the rain, walked to the gazebo to watch the waves, rank coffee, made brownies, organized, dreamed. We discovered huge waves, a banana slug, peace, relaxation and a noisy frog. We enjoyed watching Tessa and Kelton hunt imaginary vampires and ghosts, Camille keeping up with the big kids, running down the path. I am so very grateful that I have a friend like Heather in my life, and that our families laugh and play together so easily. Moondance is a special place, so easy to fall in love with, and I can’t wait to come back. Ryan is going to love it here!

The weather was wonderful, clear and cold, 30 to a high of 40 with the road being icy in spots. We ate at the Front Street Café, had long walks on the beach and drove in and out the byways and beach to Ocean Shores. We hot tubbed and played games with the Surface Clan. We love the oceanfront neighborhood!

The weather was cold and clear. We found sand dollars on the beach, ate birthday cake and pie, soaked in the hot tub, played Family Topics, looong beach walks, planned my parents’ new kitchen and Ryan went for a bike ride

The weather was beautiful! Sunny and 60o. We prepared dinners and breakfasts, watched the Olympics, went running on the beach, played shuffleboard in the park, soaked in the hot tub. We discovered a gorgeous sunset on the beach, Wii, a sea lion on the beach in Ocean Shores, the Little Dipper, the hot tub, delicious clam chowder in Ocean Shores. We will remember racing each other in go-carts in Ocean Shores, riding bikes around town, watching the dogs eat whipped cream, setting a new Olympic record in Wii figure skating. This trip was our Christmas present to each other. All weekend we commented on what a great way to enjoy family this was. Thank you for providing life-long memories!
