Thank you for the lovely cabin! We are in love with the area and will be back this summer! Towels are in the washer and you are out of Swifter pads or I just could not find them. You are out of sponges too.

We loved the ambience and it is just how we would design our interior. Bravo for giving the feeling of a seaside without all the lighthouse and shell décor. A suggestion might be, hooks for the bathroom, wine glasses, cookie sheet. We enjoyed the sheets! It amounted to quality sleeping which made the weekend perfect. It was a pleasure to stay in a classy and tasteful surrounding. Many warm regards.

This was our first visit to Seabrook and to Eleanor. We were here with Russell’s EO group for the weekend. Thanks to Casey. We had a wonderful time at the beach and enjoyed a terrific breakfast at the café (great coffee) and even took the bikes for a spin. A ride on the handlebars was very reminiscent of our days at UC Santa Barbara! We look forward to many returns in the years to come! Thank you for letting us stay in the cottage. It was great. The beds were so comfy. The cottage is super cozy. We love all the old pics and the cottage feel! It is very cozy! Thank you.

We came here to celebrate my first Mother’s Day. We love Seabrook and your cozy cabin. It is just the right size for us. It rained all of yesterday but is beautiful today, so we took the baby down to the beach. I am sure this will be a popular place to come to. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

The Eleanor was a wonderful weekend getaway for our family! Riding bikes, walks on the beach, football in the park and even digging razor clams, were all fun. Thanks to the Eleanor and its wonderful hosts. Thank you Seabrook for making memories we will always cherish.

Thanks for a lovely visit! We enjoyed the little indoor stove on our chilly mornings and outdoor fireplace in the evening. We had a great time just relaxing, playing card games and renewing friendships. Tomorrow starts quarters in the piggy bank so hopefully we can return again soon. WE were most comfortable and enjoyed the ambience. We hope our barkers did not disturb anyone on early mornings. We did clean up after them. See you all sometime soon.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The weather even cooperated. Thanks for the well-equipped unit. We were able to prepare our eat-in meals with ease. We hope to be back someday for another stay.

We had a lovely time with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. My grandson is 2 years old and crazy about construction trucks, especially excavators and Bobcats. He really got an eyeful. This was my first time seeing the Pacific. I would come back again if I could stay in a cottage that was pet-free. There were quite a few floating hairs from previous visitors.

Thank you for letting us use your great cottage. It was very fun and comforting. And our family had a great time. We will be coming back to Seabrook soon, and my family will never forget this. Thanks again. We left you some sand dollars. We found about 1,000.

We have enjoyed our two-night stay in the Eleanor. What a cozy, peaceful place to unwind. We have fallen in love with Seabrook. We enjoyed walking on the beach and throughout Seabrook, eating at the café here and also Ocean Crest Restaur4ant in pacific Beach. It was a nice walk down the stairs to the beach. We had sunny, warm weather our entire stay. We can’t wait to come back soon!

We picked a great weekend to get away with the winter storm upon the Northwest. There was a big windstorm on Thursday night and all day Friday. We took a trip to Ocean Shores which found us n the market without power and we encountered two trees down in the road on the way back to Seabrook. We prepared for the power to go out, but it held out through the storm. It was nice and peaceful here and we missed the traffic jams in Seattle. The sun came out Saturday and we ventured down to the beach. Unfortunately, the tide was high, fast, and strong. Within five minutes the entire family was wet and cold and had to run back to the cottage for a warm shower to dry off. Bike riding around Seabrook was a lot more fun and we all stayed dry. We enjoyed time together, playing cards and games. Our 4-year-old loves the beach and spending time with Mom, Dad. It was a great weekend to get away before the busy holiday season. Hopefully, we will be back with more family in the new year. We so enjoyed your home and the comfortable amenities. Thank you for sharing it with our family.

This is our first time at Seabrook. We were favorably impressed. The cabin was just the right size and worked well for us. The decorating was excellent. We lucked out. We arrived in the rain, but yesterday it was gorgeous. We walked on the beach and enjoyed all the area has to offer. We will be back.

We had a great weekend! It was our first time out here at Seabrook. We came to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The weather was beautiful, giving us a fare sunny day to wander and play. Thanks for a comfy, cozy place to stay while we played games, explored the beach and just sat and enjoyed a fire. I am sure we will be back!

Thanks for a great, restful, quiet getaway. We will do it again to enjoy the ambience. The décor is wonderful. We stayed in cabins like this in our youth that were much more rustic. Again, thanks.

This was our family’s first trip to Seabrook. It won’t be our last!! We stayed for the weekend and are only leaving because the house is reserved for tonight. It is so hard to go. The Front Street Café was great. The people have been friendly, and the surroundings are perfect! I love the way the Eleanor is decorated. I am going home to redo our bedroom!! Thank you for this. We will come again. I intended to begin that task but slept too late.

We enjoyed the cottage! It is very comfy and relaxing after mornings of razor clamming and afternoons of beachcombing and exploring the area. We enjoyed the old time photos of the area in the cottage. The new market had some great items at reasonable prices – surprise! We will be back again for more razor clamming, fishing, beachcombing and exploring. It works out cheaper than the hotels in the area. Try a good, inexpensive breakfast at the casino. Thanks for a great weekend!

It rained two out of three days at 45 degrees. We lost $5 at the casino (we are big gamblers) and loved every minute of our trip! Those were the only negatives. The highlights were finding sand dollars on the beach, shopping and finding a beach sign in a little shop in Pacific Beach to put on our own house (we live less than a mile from a beach on Puget Sound), and enjoying this little village of Seabrook. We recommend driving up to Taholah just to see the little village on the reservation and to see the coastal scenic drive, and taking time to visit the little shops in pacific Beach and Ocean Shores. Also, don’t forget about the sand dunes around Ocean City/Copalis Beach. Have fun! We will certainly be back.

We had a great time here for our 4th anniversary. The weather was perfect the whole time. So, we spent all our time outside. We were excited to find two glass balls along the trails as well. Thanks for the great accommodations and we look forward to coming back! Also thanks for the drinks at the café!

The weather was great, better than when we were here in August 2008. Eleanor Cottage was perfect for us. I suppose we will have to invest in a Wii now.

We had a really nice visit. It was my dad from Anchorage and me, husband and son from Kent, Washington. This place (the complex) is so quaint. What a great spot. We love the little cottage. The beds were awesome. We got lots of rest. I love the black and white décor and the wood panel ceilings. Everything is so clean. The only drawback is that we couldn’t get a roaring fire going. We tried and tried. The beach is so beautiful. We will be back. It was great to be able to bring our Doxie.

This was the nicest place we have ever stayed on the Washington Coast (and we have headed for the escape of the beach for over 30 years). We loved the old photos of historic Pacific Beach, and we learn something new about this area each time we travel here. This cottage is beautiful and tastefully furnished with old flea market finds and slip-covered ottoman. And of course, the TV and other electronics will appeal to our sons and granddaughter when they visit with us. We’re sharing the poem that follows as a tribute to our 7-year-old Black Lab, Juno, who we rescued a year ago. She is our permanent traveling companion and muse. She has taught us so much.
In the Moment
–Maxine Kumin
Some days the pond wears a glaze of yellow pollen.
Some days it is clean – swept.
The trout leaps up, feasting on insects.
A modest size, it sits like a soup tureen
In a surround of white pine
Where Rosie, 14 lb., some sort of
Rescued terrier.
Part bat (the ears) part anteater (the nose)
Shyly paddles in the shallows
For salamanders, frogs, and little painted turtles
She logged ten years down south in a kennel
Secured in a crate at night
Her heart murmur will carry her off
No one can say when
Meanwhile she is rapt in the moment
Our hearts leap up observing
Dogs live in the moment, pursuing that
Brilliant dragonfly called pleasure
Only we sun struck in this azure day
Must drag along the backpacks of
Our past
Must peer into the bottom muck
Of what’s to come
Scanning the plot for words
That say another year, or not

Seabrook rocks my world! This will be a long standing tradition to celebrate the end of the school year. No cell service forced me to be present and enjoy being on vacation. We left 99 coffee filters that actually fit the coffee pot so future visitors can make coffee with ease

I spent an awesome weekend with my two girl friends. We made s’mores, walked along the beach and relaxed. What an incredible time we had. I could not have asked for more! We are definitely coming back!

Thanks for the quiet comfort. Being a teacher, this was the perfect retreat. I cannot wait to come here with my family

This is my second visit. It is lovely. We will be back. It is delightful. Thank you again. We will be back a third time, a fourth and perhaps buy one. A suggestion might be one concerning the white crushed shells that wreak havoc. It tracks in and imbeds itself in rugs and floors. The dining room needs a glass top that would protect it well. Please enforce your pet rules as there were several piles out in front of 15. We appreciate our dogs and follow your rules, so do enforce it so we all may have to pay the price (no pets allowed). They have little post in the lawn and little disposal bags we pulled out. They never had a poop problem with rentals starting at 2100 and up and over 250 pets was the usual. They are made of a dog park, apartments. So it might be worth looking into.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Eleanor Cottage this weekend. It was so nbice having all of the amenities of home at a beautiful beach getaway. We enjoyed walking along the beach and riding the provided bikes through Seabrook. We also enjoyed just relaxing around Eleanor, playing Scrabble. Thanks for providing all the games! We were lucky to have nice weather during our stay. It was a little breezy and chilly at times, but beautiful and pleasant nonetheless. Our dog is our family. We are so happy to have found such a nice place that is dog-friendly. She had a great time as well! We will be back! Thank you!

This is a great place for a quick weekend getaway! We booked at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised by this cottage. It is spacious enough for our family of four. Thank you for supplying more games than we brought. I think we played all of them. The cottage’s décor is great. We loved the old black and white photos. I chose the Eleanor because it was my grandmother’s name. We had to make a choice somehow. How cool to have the picture in the living room! It could be her and her brother and sister!

This was a wonderful visit to Seabrook. We came for a long weekend with five other families (12 adults and 11 children). The group participated in Seabrook’s first sand castle contest. We designed a huge octopus overtaking a ship. We won 2nd place to a starfish. (Ours was better!) The judges were kids so next year we’re going to bring a few pieces of candy for each judge. We let the kids destroy the masterpiece. It might have been their highlight. We will all be back next year for sure. Hopefully, next time we will see the sun. This weekend was overcast with a chill. We were sad to see that Mario Cart was no longer here. It must have walked off with a previous visitor.

We have really enjoyed our first visit to Seabrook and Eleanor Cottage. It is charming! Our 7-year-old daughter, Amandea, loved collecting and drying sand dollars from the beach, meeting new friends and plying and biking freely here. It reminded me of my own childhood in Canada where we could all meet with neighborhood kids and play games. We also enjoyed playing horse shoes, outdoor bowling, and ceramic-making, lots of bike riding and fireside chats and s’mores with our neighbors. I’d love to come back every year! Oh, it was most fun vacationing with our friends, the Madeygas. Thank you so very much!

What a great trip this was for our family. We loved our cottage! We enjoyed making s’mores out back at the fire pit and visiting with other families. The weather was gorgeous. The trail to the beach was fun, especially seeing the gnome village. We will be back again, but next time bringing more family along.

Today is my twenty-fourth birthday. Seabrook was the perfect gift. I couldn’t have asked for more. The cottage surpassed our expectations and we look forward to our next visit. Next time we will bring our little boys! The perfection and serenity this little town offers is like a dream. Spending it with the love of my life is a dream come true. I don’t want to leave, and I can’t wait to spend other holidays here, and hopefully the summer months! Seabrook is inspiring and I hope to capture a piece of it to incorporate in our own home. It is definitely a higher standard of living that I hope to one day obtain for my own family. Thank you so much for allowing us to visit. I love you, Omar.
