Welcome to Seabrook and The Surfing Cowboy! We are so happy you've given us the chance to share our cozy beach getaway with you. We think it's the perfect place for you to just "be" with your family, friends, canine companions and the great outdoors.

With a unique “farm-to-beach” feel, The Surfing Cowboy is situated closest to Windgate stable and offers an unobstructed view of pastoral scenery, including orchards, forests and pastures, while maintaining modern amenities designed to make your stay restful, relaxing and renewing.

The Surfing Cowboy's orchard cottage at 10 Grove Lane may be small but it’s packed with luxurious details we think you'll appreciate including a special welcome gift for choosing our cottage!

It begins with the thoughtfully put together interior décor melding a beach aesthetic with a western cowboy vibe. Well appointed rooms include a primary bedroom with a king size bed, a kids loft with its own entertainment system, a two-story vaulted living room and kitchen as well as a bathroom with heated tile floor and a walk-in shower with a rain shower head.

Outside the cottage amenities include a Weber grill, a covered porch with two rocking chairs, a fire pit area with seating overlooking the orchard and two Adirondack chairs in the back of the cottage to take advantage of the evening sunsets.

But you'll have to get out of the house sometime, so why not take in everything the Farm District has to offer? The Farm District neighborhood boasts unique views of horse pastures, forests, berry orchards and a community garden. Picturesque Windgate stable is right across the country road outside our end-of-the-row cottage.

A short walk up Meriweather Street leads you into Horseshoe Park, home of the grandest fire pit. Tennis, pickleball and basketball courts are right around the corner, as is a playground and fenced dog park. Head south and the Sunrise outdoor pool and fitness gym are only a quick walk away.

The center of town and expansive sandy Pacific Ocean beaches lie only minutes to the west. There you’ll find your Seabrook neighbors enjoying swimming, bicycling, hiking and beach combing.

After a full day of outdoor fun, cozy up on The Surfing Cowboy's comfy oversized couch, ideal for family movie night in front of the 60-inch 4K smart TV—or keep it all to yourself as you nestle in to read by the toasty gas fireplace. The fully stocked galley kitchen is accented by white country style cabinets and gray quartz counters. Stainless steel appliances add a touch of class to your living space. A full washer and dryer are hidden away in a nearby closet.

When night rolls around there are plenty of sleeping options. In addition to the primary bedroom’s king bed, the loft contains twin trundle beds that can sleep up to four comfortably. The loft functions well as a kids’ retreat, too: board games, a 40-inch smart TV, a Nintendo Wii and plenty of headroom ensure the kids have ample space to goof around or decompress!

    We did not have hot water for the first day as the propane tanks were completely empty. They did come and change them that evening but we had already went to bed. Not their fault but there was a power outage on night two and by the third day we asked for late check out, we were given two additional hours but then they forgot and we were locked out of our house.

    Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was extremely clean, as described, in a great location, and so cozy! We loved the comfy couch, the big king size bed, the use of the BBQ grill, and all the fun trails surrounding! Very walkable down to the beautiful beach and to town where there are cute shops and yummy restaurants! The host was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. They were even able to accommodate us checking in early. We were celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary and this house was perfect for us and our little dog! Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

    We have stayed at Seabrook many times, and this was the first time with any issues. The house was surface level clean, but very dirty when you looked deeper. The rail up to the loft was so sticky and covered in grime, it took me over 30 min to clean it so it wasn't so gross. Under the sofas, beds, and tables were incredibly dirty and dusty with food crumbs, pet hair, etc. It just didn't feel clean. The TV would not connect to the internet and was unusable our entire stay. We requested maintenance and were told someone would come fix it, but no one ever showed up. The location was very loud due to being right behind the safety building... there were cars coming and going all night with bright lights and back up beeping. There were no screens on the windows/doors, so we could not open them to get fresh air without letting tons of flies in. Overall, I was very disappointed in this stay. Seabrook is amazing, but I would not stay in this rental again.

    Seabrook is a very special place. This house was wonderful - very cute and cozy. It’s right next to a barn and the barn swallows were lovely to encounter in the morning. The horses were gentle company and we even made friends with a cute calico cat! The space worked for what we needed and the team at seabrook looked after us when we had questions or needs to be addressed. We can’t wait to come back!

    Family really enjoyed this quiet cottage in the farm area of Seabrook. While nothing is very far away, the proximity to pickleball courts was especially nice. My two boys spent hours there each day. The walkability of this community is awesome. So easy to get lost (in a good way!) with all the paths and trails. My only knock on the cottage itself was the lack of screens on the windows, and no area to sit and eat. These cottages are probably the smallest homes available in Seabrook and the layout doesn’t really leave room for a kitchen table of any sort. We managed though, and still had a very relaxing week.

    This place was great for our family of four! Lots to do and see around the area. Our kids had fun climbing up and down the ladder to their beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meal including spices. The front porch had nice rocking chairs that we used each night. It’s very quiet and peaceful around the neighborhood!

    Perfectly situated within 10 mins of town and quiet area next to the barns. Cottage was perfect for the two of us and our dogs. Didn’t utilize the loft area. Enjoyed the two porch areas and nice grill to cook a meal. Weather was absolutely perfect too.

    Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It fit our large family really well, and our kids LOVED the loft! The fully stocked kitchen made cooking all of our meals easy! We did run out of trash bags though. There wasn’t enough bedding for both trundles after checking all closets and drawers, so one of our kids just used blankets as a sheet. The heated bathroom tile is a nice feature that feels so nice after freezing your toes at the beach. Some of the furniture and layout is different than that pictures, not bad just different. Check in and check out were both incredibly easy!

    It was great. We have littles (2 under 6) and the loft was a bit scary at times but that was probably just us. Otherwise it was pretty great.
