String Theory Yarn & Fiber
String Theory Yarn and Fiber, a yarn and fiber supply store, is a new destination for crafting and community. Jean Chambers, a Seabrook resident, opened the new brick-and-mortar storefront to provide Seabrook, and the Washington Coast, a home for cultivating the knitting, crocheting, and fiber enthusiasts in the area and on vacation. With walls of hand-dyed yarn and hand stamped jewerly, notions, and alpaca rugs, at String Theory, customers are in the hands of a devoted crafter. Inspired by her mother and baby-sitter, Jean has been knitting and collecting yarn for nearly 40 years. As she settles into her groove, String Theory will offer classes in knitting and crocheting. In addition to crafts, Jean sells Or Tea?, a premium specialty tea brand you can’t find anywhere else in the US. Seabrook’s art and retail communities are richer for the addition of String Theory, which is located on Front St. across from Cottage Rentals and is open daily 10a to 6p.
