Are you a trail blazer? No, really? Can you help us blaze some new mountain biking trails?
On the third Saturday of every month, Buck Giles of Buck’s Bikes will host volunteer work parties with the goal of having new mountain bike and off-road running trails ready by summer.
Below are the proposed trails. Work will begin first on green perimeter, then the blue interior, and finally the black interior trails.

FORMAT FOR WORK PARTIES
- 9:00a - Meet at Buck’s Bikes for presentation, safety brief, and trail assignments.
- 9:30a - Head out to trails for work
- 12:00p - Break for lunch (provided)
- 1:00p - Return to trail work
- 4:00p - Wrap
Currently, the land is thick with underbrush and logging debris. The first task we’ll get done is clearing the trail corridor of brush and logging debris and thinning the brush on either side of the corridor for 25’.
WHAT TO BRING
While Buck will provide tools, here is what you’ll want to bring:
- Rain Gear
In addition, if you like working with your own tools, feel free to bring them, as well.
