Put on your pointed hats and fairy wings and head out to the coast for a day of enchantment with the Seabrook Gnome & Fairy Festival on Saturday, August 18, 2018 beginning at 10 a.m. with the Gnome & Fairy Parade (beginning in front of cottage rentals) and lasting into the evening with an exciting performance by the Not-its at Town Green Park in the SOMA District.

This magical day is all about the “wee folk” and getting up close with the natural world and encouraging active, outdoor play.

Children can forage in our enchanted forest for fairies, help build a fairy village using all natural materials, show off costumes in our gnome & fairy parade and have fun dancing to live music with the Not-Its.

There will be other enchanting activities such as gnome and fairy sand castle building. Join professional sandcarver Eric Hawley in Merriweather Square at 11 a.m. where you can build your very own gnome home or fairy castle. Sand, water, buckets, shovels, and sand carving tools will all be on-hand, and Eric will be there to help out too.

Be sure to bring the whole family to stroll Gnome Trial and catch a glimpse of the fairies and gnomes wandering Seabrook’s enchanted forest.

What's a Gnome & Fairy Festival without magic? Join Nate Jester at Town Green Park at 3 p.m. to enjoy some mysterious and mythical magic.

At 7 p.m., the Not-Its will take the Town Green Park stage to get the party started with their energy and fun vibes. This is one performance your kids aren't going to want to miss.

Dress in costume and flaunt your wings in our parade; frolic in the enchanted forest for a fairy surprise; build a gnome village; enjoy games and crafts inspired by the natural world.

There’s a fairy good chance kids will love the festive activities set for Seabrook’s Gnome & Fairy Festival.
