Thank you for letting me stay here while I got my own house next door, readied. The move almost killed me but I had a comfortable, beautifully appointed home to stay in. You set the standard high.

Your home is beautiful! Thank you for making it available to vacation in. Even though it rained the entire time, we made the most of it anyway by driving on the beach a loooong time, eating in, and just relaxing as a family. We are a young family. We brought our twin boys (33/4 years old) and our old 9-year-old dog, Ivory, with us. We enjoyed our first ocean family vacation. Our boys loved the bunk bed and their own DVD player in their room! Thank you! May the Lord bless all who stay here!

Greetings! What a wonderful time we had in your beautiful home in this delightful community! After several stays at Bella Beach, we decided to explore – so glad we did. Our family consists of my 19-year-old daughter (a freshman at Oregon State University – music major), my son, who is preparing to head back to Berkley College of Music in Boston, and finally our dog, Dave, a Golden Lab. Oh, and me, a middle-aged mom. We all enjoyed playing lots of games, cards, puzzles, massages by local gal, named Dawn, mopeds on the beach, beach combing, walking and biking. The weather was great for spring break – very few rain drops and plenty of sun. Oh, and we enjoyed the fires inside and outside and hot tubbing. A fantastic week, we all agreed. Must do again – soon! Thank you for sharing this fabulous place with our family. It was a much needed treat and retreat. With warm gratitude!

Thank you so much for the use of your great home. All of your touches have made it a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. We love the neighborhood and will definitely be back to see it grow. What a terrific addition to the Washington Coast! We took our Lab pups, Harley and Hunter, for their first beach outing. They had a blast on the trails and chasing birds on the beach. (Thank you for allowing our boys in your home.) May all who stay here feel as relaxed as we did!!

This was the best vacation I ever had. I loved the grill, hot tub, and ocean. We had a wonderful time! I loved that trip! What a great memory – TVs and s’mores galore! Them dogs loved it too. Next door the neighbor’s dog got over and jumped into my arms. So cute! No other memory quite the same!

We had a lovely time in your beautiful home. Thank you for allowing us to bring our Golden Lab – she had a wonderful time here as well. Ocean Crest Restaurant on 109 is top-notch, but pricey. Dinner with an ocean view – very relaxing – try the banana foster dessert – divine. Galway Irish Pub in Ocean Shores was a nice restaurant – food was good and so were the prices. Live piano music, Irish ballads – really nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We planned this trip very spur of the moment. It was better than I expected! I loved seeing our two kids, Jonah, 33/4 years old, and Logan, 17 months, enjoying and discovering all there is on the beach. It made it all the nicer to have someplace close to return to with all the conveniences of home. You made a very comfy and pleasing place to retreat and we thank you! God bless!

The Yangs and Niemanns enjoyed Labor Day weekend. Rained half the time. This chef enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen. Very pleased with the number of pots, etc. Fire pit and hot tub gave us plenty to do. Maybe the garage could supply some beach toys or a small bike/wagon for little ones. Bathroom sink works, but seems to be broken. We are very much looking forward to future returns!

My dog, Baxter, and I enjoyed our stay in your cottage. What a great place to get away to relax and unwind! It was nice to find a dog bed and a dog crate here to make Baxter’s stay more comfortable. We give your cottage 5 stars for comfort. Hope to come back some day!

What a wonderful place you have here and we are so lucky that you are willing to share it with us! When you first walk in, you feel right at home. I have been saying for years that our Washington Coast needed something like Seabrook. We enjoyed taking our walks there and seeing all that is being built. What a good job they are doing. We brought movies to watch in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed the popcorn and s’mores! It was suppose to rain all weekend, but our luck held and the sun was shining every day. There was just enough wind for my husband to fly his kite. Our dog, Bailey, wants to thank you for the great dog bed too! Note: just a couple of items that are needed – a dust pan (to go with broom), dish cloths and a nylon scrubbie for pans, etc.

Your home is beautiful as is all of Seabrook. Thank you for sharing it with the Williams’ and Lee families. We arrived Thursday afternoon – a grey misty day. But Friday was spectacular sunny and fairly warm. Everyone walked the beach and rode the bikes around the development. It was a great day and my 60th birthday. We finished the day dining at Ocean Crest, which was nice. Saturday and Sunday were indoor days but enjoyable. Spending the weekend at the beach with family is at the top of my list and was a wonderful birthday present from my husband. We all thank you again for letting us use your lovely home.

The rain has been pouring with a strength that provokes thought, good conversation, and delicious food. Off and on, yesterday, the sun came to wave hello, but the rain, seeing the sun had its chance, quickly overtook the sky and began its moody dance again. We had our own dances on the beach, walking for, perhaps, two hours, one of those next chances that the sun was showing her self. How vast is the sea? Kelp and oyster shells met us every few feet – and often the sand became Jello under our rubber boots. Yellow, light, dark, and bright green filled cliff side with color – and the weatherworn gulls seemed to smile at us from the cliff. Rest and relaxation are two words our society forgot many years ago. Perhaps, the dreamers at Seabrook remembered these words and are helping to bring life back to the overworked and overtired city people – people like my father – who have worked hard all their lives. Thank you, Dad, for being so wonderful. Happy 65th! May this time at the Weldin House be one of beautiful memories and lasting peace. Blessing and peace to Seabrook in the name of Our Father and His Son.

Y’all’s house is absolutely beautiful! I am so glad I came with my family to stay in this lovely cottage in Seabrook for the weekend! The hot tub was perfect. The little town of Pacific Beach was so interesting to look around. My friend and I had so much fun hanging out with Mr. Wacky at the Wacky Warehouse. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to stay in your cute little house. We had everything we needed and then some. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We were here for our 10th wedding anniversary and loved every single moment. The weather was beautiful with clean crisp fall days. The beaches were great. Your home is absolutely everything we could wish for. Our old dog loved it and loves the beach. The new puppy also enjoyed every bit. Thank you for sharing this beautiful area with us. Well, how do I pick you whole house up and plop into my lot in Seattle? The layout and space worked perfectly for the whole family. We really enjoyed your well-equipped kitchen which made meal prep a breeze. The beds were cozy and the kids loved the hot tub. We lucked out on the weather. Saturday morning, clouds burnt off and made way for afternoon sun that still holds on Sunday morning. The café was a wonderful new treat from our last trip to Seabrook. The 13-year-olds loved walking up for Italian sodas and French fries. Mom and Dad liked the beers on tap and French fries. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. It was wonderful!

On our second trip to Seabrook in seven months, we were pleasantly greeted with sunshine every day! It was warmer this February, of all months, than it was last July! Yesterday, our daughter, who is almost 7, said it was the best day of her life! The beach combing was terrific – we were the only people there. She learned how to ride a bike in the park! She’ll never forget this experience. We ended one day with a terrific fire in the fireplace, enjoying a glass of wine, thinking it just doesn’t get any better than this! It was then that my husband called us outside. Clear night skies revealed the lunar eclipse in all its glory. Wow! Thank you for sharing your amazing cottage. We loved our stay and are looking forward to visiting Seabrook again!

This was our first trip to Seabrook although we have watched its growth since the beginning. What a wonderful place! – And a fabulous house!! It immediately felt like home to us and our dogs! Thank you for allowing dogs – they are part of our family and we hate to leave them home. We had some sun, some very hard rain and wind but we enjoyed it all. We ate at the new café – the Mac/cheese is very good for $5.00 and the French onion soup was great. The Seagate (located just down the road from Pacific Beach) is very funky but has great food, allows kids and is very reasonable. We tried to do the puzzle, rode the bikes, hiked the trails and had a fire. We’ll be back!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We celebrated our daughters 19th birthday here. What a fun setting! The beach was fun and the waves were crashing! The dogs (max and Ollie) loved running full speed. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub even though it was raining lightly most of our stay. Seabrook is a wonderful relaxing village and I look forward to enjoying it during the summer.

I had a really fun time in this house. I went in the hot tub every night. It was really fun. I liked the bunk bed a lot. The beach was really fun. My sister really really really liked it a lot. It snowed almost every single day. It hailed a little bit. This house is a great house. ; My favorite part in this house was going in the hot tub every day. We had some s’mores. It was soo, soo, soo fun. If I come to Seabrook again I want this house for sure. This was one of my favorite spring breaks ever.

Our extended families have been “spring-break’n” along this coast for the last 8 years and this house has been, by far, the best place we’ve relaxed at. What we love about spending time on the beach: fresh seafood, long walks on empty beaches, time to visit with loved ones, making good memories. We echo the sentiments about this house – well-equipped, comfy beds, room to spread out. We like instant beach access but the walk down isn’t bad – kids had fun here making new friends – the café is super, good food and a fine beer and wine choice. We lucked out with lovely weather – nights have been cool. Once we opened the draft on the fireplace all worked well. Tips for newbies: Mike’s in Ocean Shore has the best fresh seafood. Moclias is the best beach for san dollars. Pacific Crest Restaurant makes the best martini along with excellent food. Lastly – even though this house is full of TVs, we try not to turn them on We will be back!

We loved your beach home and the resort as a whole! Those who have purchased homes are very lucky and we are lucky to be able to vacation here. Thank you for entering Weldin House in the rental pool! Every amenity was included in your beautiful, well-stocked, very comfortable home. We enjoyed the trails, the beach, the café, the swimming pool at Ocean Crest. Visitors can swim there for a nominal fee. Great option for kids on a rainy day or evening! It’s so nice to be able to stay in a big, nice house with our cocker spaniel. Although he didn’t appreciate staying off the furniture and sleeping in his crate at night, it’s a small price to pay to have this wonderful house to stay in! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We loved this house and the beach that is close to it. We went to the beach and got in the hot tub every day. Mom took pictures of us in the hidey-hole out front. The hole is fun. I went on a bike ride with Dad and saw houses being built, even a three-story one. I liked the pink light in the hot tub. Our dog, Shiloh, loved it.

This was our first adventure in Seabrook and we hope to be back many, many more times to come!! We will hold this particular trip dear to our hearts as we celebrated our daughters first double digit birthday here (her 10th) and we could not have asked for a better place to have been. All the things about this home are superb! The lovely furnishings, the well-stocked kitchen, warm comfy beds, fireplace, fire pit and hot tub. Most of our family was able to join us which made this trip even more memorable. We enjoyed the neighborhood as a whole, but especially enjoyed spending time around the beautiful kitchen table playing games and catching up with our loved ones. Thank you for all the thoughts. When you put this lovely home together, they are all appreciated. As we sit here before we depart, reflecting upon our great times, we are planning our next time here at the Weldin House and hope to even rent a neighboring home so our entire family can be together! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your cozy home! We’ve been here once before but we stayed in a different home. We had ad ton of fun flying kites and site-seeing. Last time we were here, that’s what we intended to do but it started snowing and we lost power. ; While we were here, this time we went down to Pacific Beach and seen our first razor clam! We decided to go down to Ocean Shores and try some fudge and we stopped at Mike’s Seafood Restaurant, it was good but don’t try the crab cakes. The weather was decent while we were here. The one day it was sunny we didn’t think about sun block and we all got burned. We had a wonderful visit and will probably come again, no doubt. Shelby (our dog) had as much fun as we did. Thanks again!

Everyone had arrived by 6:30 or so. Beautiful weather and awesome home to come to. Steaks were on the grill shortly after arriving. MMMM – good! After getting the Playstation setup and getting rock band going, Andy and Jeremy grabbed some beers and soaked in the hot tub. Then after that we came in and played some Yahtazee with Tracie and Mernst. ; Jeremy hit a Yahtzee, then large straight and immediately hit another Yahtzee. (Eat that Michael.) and that’s day one We had a great time overall – walks on the beach, bike rides, s’mores by the campfire. Thank you so much for providing your beautiful home. We will definitely be back!

Thank you, Mike and Cindy!!! All I can say is wow! And more wow! Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful, large, decorated home! We have had the nicest time here and three sunny days! All of our needs were met, and we truly enjoyed the large front porch and waking up to viewing the ocean. We also appreciate allowing our dog as we cannot stand to separate from her. It was fun watching “27 dresses” the 2nd night we were here, and also “Ghost Town.” Tomorrow, looking forward to the French fries at the café. We will be back. What a lovely home! We celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday here with her friends and they had a great time. The weather cooperated for the most part. Loved the hot tub and beautiful new deck. Being our second trip to Seabrook, we were very excited to try another new home. And what a wonderful fit! Our Cocker Spaniel, Oreo, had so much fun meeting all kinds of new friends. He also thanks you for the very soft doggy bed. Our daughters, 61/2 and 41/2, really enjoyed their bund beds! We all definitely made good use of the hot tub! (even when it was 35o and rain or snow). We met three other families here this year for the March Clam Dig. And we are sure to be back for many more years to come. Oh, the bikes were a big hit, too. AS was the park, popsicles from the market, and French fries from the café. Morgan: I want to stay in this house! We had fun in the cottage. I went to the beach. We came with our girls for a spring break trip. It was windy and rainy for two days – great movie, popcorn, puzzle-making weather. Sun came as we were packing up to leave. ; Had a great time. Thank you for sharing your house with my family. This was our first family vacation as a new mom and dad. Our 5-month-old daughter had a grand time in the kids’ room. The tot bed helped us save room for our packing. Buddy, a 12-year-old Beagle, loved the dog bed. It was like a king size bed for him. Your house is wonderful and will serve as a place to stay in the future to come. We have already decided that Seabrook would be a yearly tradition for us. Thank you again for a perfect place to stay!

What a fun place! Thank you for allowing us to bring our family with two dogs. There is so much to do, but we loved exploring the beach and flying kites the best. We had great weather and hope to make this an annual or even semiannual reunion. Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your home!

We had a great time! We first settled in this great house, then had dinner, and had too fun time at the beach. Last night we played Uno and the game lasted an hour before we decided to continue on today. Also today we played some of the games we found in the house. It was fun. Finally we enjoyed the nighttime beach. It was as chilled but fun day.

Thanks sooo much for letting us stay in your beautiful house! We had a blast everyday, even when we went to the beach yesterday morning while it rained. I and my best friend had a great time! Our first trip to Seabrook! What a lovely place to stay! The house was fully equipped and then some. We particularly loved relaxing in the hot tub and the separate living space for the teenage girls. Not enough cute boys around for their liking but they managed. We enjoyed several sunny afternoons, long walks on the beach, and afternoon drive to Quinault, and beautiful sunsets. Lucy, our Sheppard-mix mutt, made herself perfectly at home and made friends with the neighbors. Peace and quiet and an all around great week at the beach. Thank you for sharing your home.

We came to celebrate our parents’ anniversary and we all had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the beach, the bikes rides, the dog parade, the tour and the playgrounds! We plan on coming back yearly. The house is beautiful and fit our large family well. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We truly had a fabulous time! The kids loved the bund beds and we loved the kitchen! I think Seabrook will become a new tradition for our family and we will tell all we know about how wonderful it is – the ocean, the trails, the café and market. We love it all. We had a great time here – our first (but certainly not last) visit to Seabrook. And your house was wonderful. We loved our time here in the sun as well as the rain. I have been coming to the Washington Coast every summer of my life. I am now 40. This is the first time we have ever had four straight days of sun. I am so glad my family was finally able to see the sun here and the stars last night as it was clear! This is the first of what I hope will be an annual vacation to Seabrook. Went to the park last night and the bonfires were already built. What more could you ask for the end of what was already a perfect day. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us.

What a cool home this is. All the comforts of home were right here for us. Everyone who works here at Seabrook took very good care of us. Two days here was not nearly long enough. In the midst of this beautiful place, I proposed to my future wife. We will be coming again. Thank you Weldin House.

This is our third year spending Thanksgiving at the Weldin House. We have a large group and we rent a few of the houses here. This year our group is small, only 36 of us this year. We arrived Wednesday. On our drive down/over we were wearing sunglasses – not the case when we got here. Friday was beautiful. The sun was out and so were our sunglasses. We walked down to the ocean and threw the football around. We had a big Italian dinner to celebrate Gillian and Lucy’sbirthday. Tonight (Saturday) we are having a soup-off. Ugly Christmas sweater contest and then we are going caroling. This should be interesting. We always enjoy it here at Thanksgiving – rain or shine!

Thank you for sharing your gracious home with our family. We celebrated our anniversary (42nd) and birthdays – Sissy and Al are twins and celebrated a huge one – 66. We decided to spend the next year exploring Route 66 (timely). We feel so happy here, like our own home! (Except we have the ocean) Purrfect place for a gathering of clans. Lucky us. cold and clear – beautiful weather. We enjoyed Ferocious Bridge, competitive backgammon and good reading. Wish we could see more of the sunset (peek-a-boo view), but love the proximity to the square. We recommend adding bookshelves. Guests would bring and leave paperbacks. Also, more DVDs would be good; guests would gladly bring and leave to share. We woke to the sounds of the sea – a frosty cold morning, but clear and sunny. Local cinnamon buns, a splash of champagne, trip to town, long walk with a visit by the sandpipers – my, what magic to be found here. Thank you dear owners. We have no pets – only spurious spouses, but your home here is a model to take back to our world. We opened books, lit a fire, wolfed oysters, feasted on the clear starry tides and go home at peace with ourselves. Thank you for sharing and showing us how.
