We really enjoyed our stay at your wonderful house. We cooked in the well stocked kitchen and really enjoyed the beach. We would suggest a couple extra chairs for the front porch and a side table or two – we made due with using the dining chairs. The lamp switch by the chair in master bathroom is broken.

What fun it was to open the door on this gorgeous house! We love the way it’s been furnished, and the kitchen was perfectly appointed. We found so many things that we need in our own home! The older kids loved the freedom to ride bikes all over, and the baby loved the swing at the park. This community is so wonderful, can’t wait to come back!

Having been to Seabrook before in the summer time, we were pleased to find this the best weather we’ve had while here. The ocean was crashing in its awesome splendor and I think that through nature we each got revived and closer to God. Leaving with that rejuvenation makes this vacation ideal.

Favorite things about Seabrook:
-Going to the beach –The bikes!! – Playing football in crescent park – Going on a bear hunt in the woods – The playgrounds, shuffle board, frog pond alley – The carved mushrooms on the path to the beach – climbing the big tree stump – Family dinners at Grandma Dorothy’s cottage

Over 20 years ago, my grandmother, mother and I would spend 1 week in the summer on the Oregon coast. This was a tradition for my entire childhood and most of my adult life, but life changes and summers become busier. This year, we decided we needed to go again and what a better place than “Grandma Dorothy’s cottage”. Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, and I had a wonderful time reminiscing about the past and creating new memories to hold close to our hearts. Thank you for the wonderful location!

We had a wonderful week spending our honeymoon at Grandma Dorothy’s cottage. The house is so beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed walking down to the beach several times, walking around the community, and doing several of the activities that were offered. We will for sure be back again.

1st annual Whiney Women’s weekend. This is our first girls weekend away. We are having so much fun bonding. We have rode bikes, went to the beach and cooked wonderful dinner in the awesome kitchen. Looking forward to a fun filled day Saturday. Had a great day today – shopping and just hanging out!! Dinner out and back around the campfire! Really enjoying the neighborhood atmosphere!! We will be back! Can’t wait for the second annual Whiney Women’s Weekend next year! Grandma’s cottage is perfect for 5 people! Upstairs bed is the best, Loved the house ! Great fun with awesome friends! What a beautiful place! I’m one of the 5 Whiney women and can’t wait to come back next year! Streaking at Ocean Shores was awesome loved the bike’s and the girls. We just enjoyed a lovely two night getaway with my husbands parents and our two small children and Grandma Dorothy’s cottage was perfect! The kitchen is well appointed, and the bedroom set up was exactly what we needed for our 22 month old and our 10 day old. The grandparents stayed in the HUGE bedroom upstairs and my husband and I stayed in the queen sized bedroom downstairs with our little one and our 22 month old had her own bedroom with a twin size bed. Our stay there was at the end of a longer trip and my father in law commented that while he enjoyed the rest of the trip he wished we had just spent the whole time there. We can’t wait to revisit with friends soon.
