Kristen and Jeff, what a beautiful and wonderful place! We love it. True, we battled snow (in April!), but so did Shoreline and the rest of the Northwest. The beach, the café, the fire pit, the kitchen – everything was a joy. We will be back!

What a cute and comfy home you have here!. We wanted a quick last-minute getaway and the Beach Break was perfect. Our 21/2-year-old loved the DVDs and toys and we loved the step stool for his convenience! We envisioned staying here with grandparents and felt so at home! Thank you and we wish you many wonderful memories in this home. Good things: décor, foam mats, toys, step stools, Sesame TV and videos!

What a wonderful place to spend a milestone birthday with my family! The home is adorable, cozy and beautifully decorated. My children (ages 8 and 13) loved the sun porch and the beach. We had fun in the hot tub as well. My husband and I loved the sense of calm and community. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Beach Break has everything you need in your home away from home. It is well-equipped for you to enjoy your stay and we will be recommending it.

Nice and cozy and you can bet we will be back with the grandkids in tow, sometime on down the road!

I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. It has been a long time since I have been back to the ocean. I forgot how cold it can be. I have gotten acclimatized to the South for three years. You have thought of everything to make our stay so much fun!

What a fun, relaxing weekend! This felt like home away from home – only better! We are grandparents raising a 9-year-old grandson. The community fireplace allowed him the opportunity to meet other kids. The bikes entertained both grandpa and kids. The trail was fun to hike to the beach, and the hot tub was a great bonus to all. We will definitely return and also recommend this place to our friends and family.

Beach Break was the gathering spot for my family the evening before our son’s wedding on the beach at Kalaloch. We could not have asked for a nicer experience. Thank you.

Jeff, Kristen, Liam and Bryce, Thank you for the wonderful cottage for our little summer break. We fell in love with Beach Break and with Seabrook! You made us feel right at home the moment we walked in the door. All the little touches (extra blankets tucked away; night lights; reading materials; games and videos; etc.) made us feel like this was our home away from home. We will definitely be back for another family break as well as bringing the extended family and close friends to come and create new memories with us

Our favorite parts of our stay – flying kites on the beach (even the walk to the beach) having lunch at the bistro; watching the sun rise under blankets in the sun room; walking around Seabrook to look at the other cottages; and sitting in the hot tub at night. Thank you for creating such a wonderful community. We have found a new treasure in the Northwest.

Uncle Randy

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We had an amazing time here in Seabrook. It was the first time in over three years we had a little vacation alone without our two little boys. It was so nice to be together. We sat on the porch and drank coffee, took walks on the beach and relaxed in the hot tub. Your home is adorable and extremely inviting. Our boys would have loved it! We are now discussing becoming owners ourselves – we’ll see. Thanks again – we loved it here. It was just what we needed.

We came here to celebrate a special birthday and had a wonderful time! The weekend started out as though it were monsoon season but got nice enough for walks and a bike ride. The kitchen had all the supplies needed for some memorable meals. The feel of the community is very warm and neighbors made us feel welcome. Thank you for sharing your special getaway with us! We hope to return during the summer.

Ken: we came here to celebrate our 20th year of marriage. We loved the sense of community here! The Beach Break home was absolutely perfect too. The walk to the beach was beautiful. The hot tub was put to good use. The entire stay was rejuvenating and put fire (more fire!) back into our relationship. We will be back for sure!
Fran: What a wonderful, relaxing, rejuvenating experience!!! It was secluded enough to get the privacy which we so eagerly desired, yet also have the benefit of knowing that nice, friendly people were nearby. The café has wonderful food. The French fries are perfect the first time and make an excellent breakfast if you prefer not to get out of the house the next morning!! The walk to the beach is rustic, yet well-marked. The hot tub takes a while to heat up, yet perfect when it does. As Ken said, we will definitely be back.

We are on a family vacation and we just went on a bike ride but we are going to the beach and fly kites. Hey we just got back. We bought kites and one got away and last night we roasted marshmallows and we are going to bed. Good morning – just woke up and got dressed and ready and leaving. We had the most relaxing and fun time here at the beach. Thank you for all the comforts of home! We will be back again!

This is our second time back to Seabrook and Beach Break. This time is even better because we shared our Pacific Beach discovery with our friends. The highlight was of the kids riding bikes around the complex. We adults just enjoyed the beauty of this community and beach and most of all, the laughter, eating, resting and being with friends. Thanks again. We will be back soon.

The perfect place for our annual get-together. Napping. Walks on the beach. Great food. Absolutely nothing. Playing Memory. Reading magazines. Drinking hot chocolate. Sleeping in. Storm watching. Fire-building. Hot-tubbing. Great friends. Thanks for providing such a wonderful place to relax and catch up with each other. We will certainly be back!.

Here at Seabrook, we were having a great time until we had to leave today. But I will tell you about our trip. On the 25th we had just got here and we went to the beach. It was fun. At the beach we found eight sand dollars. On the 26th we watched a marathon of our favorite TV series. After that, we went to the beach again. And only found 1 sand dollar. Then we had a feast. The 28th was Friday. We went to see the Western Red cedars; they were huge! When we got home we had some friends over to play. Then they went and we slept and the next day – go home. As you can see we had a great time.

We feel privileged to write a little something first in this new year. We have enjoyed several wonderful days here this week. It has been a good chance to unwind and reconnect. My wife and I both are very busy in our other lives. We recently were impacted by the terrible economy and forced to give up our home. This was a very hard thing and by spending some time here we were able to put things into perspective. What we realize is that being wealthy is more than having things. A comfortable house, nice car, and nice things are to be enjoyed but the true treasures are in our relationships with others. Our kids are grown and gone but we invited two of them to come here to visit. It was delightful to play card games, play the Wii, visit, compare whose genes caused what quirks in what children (yes, they got their “duck-walk” from their father), go to the beach, walk the neighborhood, and eat at the café. These moments do not happen unless we allow time for them. We made some memories – priceless.

Good Morning. It’s Sunday and it came way too soom. Two couples with 5 kids; our band of brothers! However, this was a much needed grownup weekend, no kids (all under 10). Our walk to the beach was a fantastic journey. The ocean snuck into our boots a couple of times and we squealed like little girls The café was a wonderful spot and we were treated like beloved neighbors. Your home is charming, comfortable and charismatic. Thank you so much for sharing and creating beautiful memories.

Your house is a treasure. Loved the blue cheese burger at the Seabrook café. We went through four other houses with 3-4 bedrooms with a larger group in mind this summer but decided that yours is the best value. We will just put the three, 8-10 year-olds, on the glass porch at night since you have the sleeping mats upstairs. Your house is so well equipped and we love the expansive view. Some houses feel very hemmed in. Thanks for sharing you home.

“You meet the nicest people at Seabrook.” This could be a motto. We did meet two nice people this morning about noon (Sunday) at the café. It was Randy’s cousin, whom he had not seen in years, and her husband. Sure was a surprise to all of us! So over very tasty breakfasts, we caught up on life. Our time here has been relaxing and fun. Went clam digging with hundreds of other folks yesterday. Got our limits and will make some good food when we get home to Maple Valley. Last night we dined on pizza and fish and chips at the café. Very good food – both visits! The fireplace has been cozy and warm this afternoon as we have read books and enjoyed “being somewhere else” – and not just anywhere else. This community of Seabrook and this home are great places to be. Thank you for providing this respite.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful Beach Break with us. We enjoyed every minute we were here. This is the 6th home we have stayed in here at Seabrook. Each one has been unique. We especially enjoyed the beach-theme furnishings here. A special favorite is your cozy sun porch; it is great for curling up with a good book. We enjoyed visiting Pacific Beaches Chocolate Festival on Saturday, too! Thank you, again!

Thank you so much for sharing your home with my best friend (girl friends’ mini vacation). I feel like I am playing house, like I did when I was a little girl. This little village reminds me of a dream I have had in Heaven surrounded with God’s children (no worries). I wish I had brought my book, The Shack, that I would have enjoyed on this beautiful porch.

My self, my sister, Lisa, and two best friends have very stressful jobs and took these two days to let loose. What a wonderful two days. Three hours on the beach just walking and talking and venting. Later around the community fireplace, fabulous neighbors, conversation and great fun! My 2nd trip here and there will be many more.

What a special place from the reception at the rental office to the well-kept accommodations! Kudos to the housekeeping staff – and the warm café and store. It truly was a wonderful experience and it was a daylight dig for razors.

Thanks for letting us stay at your house. We enjoyed every minute. We took a day trip to Lake Quinault today and had lunch. The Monte Cristo was delicious. We also drove to Ocean Shores and bought a few souvenirs. Our 2-year-old daughter, Kimberly, enjoyed the Elmo DVD as well as all the puzzles and board games. We also had fun blowing bubbles out on the deck. We will be back soon. Hopefully, the pool will be in by then.

We drove to Seabrook loving our motorcycles to enjoy a ride along the coast with our friends after enjoying a week on the beach. When we arrived, we went north as far as lake Quinault and then south to Westport and Ocean Shore. Your community is lovely – good choice!

This was such a wonderful home for our annual Bubu Girls House Chat Weekend. The weather was wonderful and we enjoyed a long walk on the beach together, lots of good food and laughter. Loved the ice cream social at the park too! Thank you for sharing your beautiful, cozy home with us! Loved the hot tub, too!

This was our second trip to Seabrook, but our first time at Beach Break. Your house was perfect for our family with its cozy feel and cute décor. Our 41/2- and 61/2- year-old children loved having the freedom of riding their bikes around the fire pit pathway and outside on the turnaround road while we watched from the porch. We took many trips down to the beach to dig in the sand, collect sand dollars, jump in the waves (chilly), and fly our kite. The hot tub and new playground were also big hits with the kids. The market and café were nice additions since our last visit to Seabrook! Dinner was great at the café, and we definitely felt better buying a few groceries at Lil’s Market compared to the one in Pacific Beach. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home! We will gbe back to Seabrook soon!

Wow – I have always imagined the Pacific Northwest, and this trip for a Mid Westerner was amazing! Being here in this cozy house surrounded by the trees and so close to the ocean to hear its roar – I am just so grateful. But more than that, I am here with the love of my life – a man I met 20 years ago almost to the day, who found this perfect spot for us to share for a few beautiful days. We enjoyed walking barefoot on the beach hand in hand as the cold Pacific water rushed over our feet. A walk through the woods surrounded by the awesome silence and stillness of the trees was so peaceful, beautiful. I am so glad I chose the path less taken. I found my soul mate again and shared in this beauty with him. We will be back! The crows were just glorious!

Your home is great! It felt like home the minute we walked in. I came with my parents, grandma, and brother. We loved all the games you had for us to use! The sunroom got lots of use and so did the hot tub! The bikes were a great addition. You thought of everything! We took a walk to look at the other houses but agreed this was best. My brother and I had lots of fun tailing golf carts on our bikes. We would stop and wait every time the maintenance guy had a job and resume chasing when he was done. Our only wish is that you took dogs. We have a Golden Retriever and she would have loved it here. Your house was perfect!

We had a great time. Thanks for sharing you home with our family. This was our first trip to this section of the Washington Coast and the Seabrook experience made it extra special. Some highlights included: celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary, discovering the Gnome Village on the trail to the beach, jumping waves and flying kites, watching the sand blow over the dunes, riding bikes with family, glazing/painting ice cream bowls, reading on the sun porch, curled up with my girls, making a variety of S’mores at the fire pit, family movie nights and no bed time, playing games (great assortment at you home), doing a 300-piece puzzle.

8/13/09
The Lumsden Family
The Lumsden Family is here again (your first official guests). Thank you for our stay at this wonderful place called, Beach Break. A week of true Washington Coast weather, cool mornings with fog, afternoons with sunshine and evenings with S’mores. We will be back.

We found a Seabrook Float!! It was near the stairs right in the brown grasses to the south on the beach. We could not believe we actually found it! What a perfect souvenir for the weekend that we went away before our first baby comes. We are 24 weeks pregnant today, November 14!!! We will be putting the float in the nursery. What a perfect “BabyMom” escape place. We relaxed, went for lots of walks and enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle at home. Jeff, Fristen and the boys thank you so much for sharing your home. We love you.

You own a cozy and comfortable home. We enjoyed our weekend at Beach Break House. It was our 2nd anniversary and a great place to rest and relax. We look forward to another visit at Sea Brook.

Hello again! We love this place! Everything about it – the openness , creature comforts, attractive décor. The fireplace was a special treat. We enjoyed a low-key weekend of good food, music, Mexican Train dominoes, Scrabble, and reading. The weather, Friday and Saturday, was rainy, but sunny on Sunday. On Saturday, we drove into Ocean Shores and ate at the Galway Pub (children allowed) and had some authentic Irish Celtic dishes. Taped Celtic music plays in the background by day and live music is featured in the evenings. Thank you for sharing your fun home with us! How about those New Orleans Saints!?

Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful, cozy place with us. (It’s bigger than our house now!) I know how much work (and love) went into this venture – not easy for sure, but you are bringing much joy and fun to many, many people. Thanks for including us in your family’s life. They too are wonderful. You are doing a fabulous job!

4/7/10
We enjoyed a beautiful warm and windless day on the beach one day, and a storm the next! We were able to explore the beach, find plenty of sand dollars, play bocce ball, ride the too cute beach cruiser bikes all around on the first day. Then snuggle up light the fire, play games, and read books (in the sun room!) the next. It couldn’t have been more perfect. We loved it so much we’re on our way to purchasing our own little piece of Seabrook.
