Seabrook Dog Parade Through The Lens

Seabrook Woman's World Contest
Last weekend Seabrook hosted Doggie Days – a fun event mingling dogs and their owners for a leisurely parade around town. Over 25 adorable dogs of all breeds and sizes gathered at Crescent Park dressed in the latest (dog) fashion to kick off a fun day of picture taking, parading, and playing fetch.

And while all the dogs looked spectacular, one lucky puppy was chosen a winner and took home a 5″x7″ profesionally taken picture under the Crescent Park tent. Sadie, a black lab from Seattle, was crowned the day’s champion much to her owner’s pleasure, Becky McAuley.

Professional photographer Morgan Miller did the honors and took pictures not just of Sadie, but of all the other dogs present to enjoy a wonderful weekend at Seabrook. For more pictures of the event, we have created a special slideshow for your pleasure. Doggie Days ParadeJust click on this link and re-live Seabrook’s Doggie Days Parade through the lens!

But don’t kick yourself if you missed out on this fun family gathering. We have another great family event planned just for you this next weekend! Once Upon A Time Porch

The famous New England artist Susan Sargent has just featured “Once Upon A Time” – one of the most vibrant looking homes at Seabrook – on her official website. Janet Kronbach, who owns this home together with her husband David, was inspired by Susan’s unique interior-design philosophy. This method implies using lavish colors in the owner’s own creative way for a unique setting each and every time.

With a distinct Swedish feel to it, the home found it’s place on Susan Sargent’s website complimented with a brief description from the owner on the idea for the design.

June 25, 2009 By: Seabrook Category: PR, Pictures

Summer has officially arrived and the sun is making the Norhtwest look more gorgeous than ever. While everyone is seeking for a good getaway spot to relax and recharge, two widely respected and distributed magazines, Seattle Magazine and AAA Journey, featured Seabrook in their latest issues as the (Pacific Northwest) ultimate beach destination for this summer.

Kate Calamusa from the Seattle Magazine spent a weekend at Seabrook enjoying a complete beach town experience with her husband. With the 4th of July just around the corner, she previews Seabrook’s unique way of celebrating independence day for anyone interested in unwinding on the coast for the holiday. You can view the text in full by simply clicking here.

But the Seabrook hype doesn’t stop there. Washington State’s “youngest little place by the sea” (as they call it) was the main departure destination recommended by the AAA Journey in their most recent issue of the bimonthly magazine. What over 1,200,000 readers could see in the print edition of Journey, you can now exclusively see online by following this link!

Is enjoying the summer out at Seabrook really A Shore Thing? Well, over 300 nature enthusiasts have already decided to spend July and August playing in the waves. Plus, Seattle Magazine and AAA definitely seem to think so. And we all know how reliable AAA is!
