>On Saturday afternoon, Seabrook resident Chris Keefer rescued a 5-year old boy who became trapped under a couch-sized boulder as he pushed his 7-year old friend to safety. After exhausting customary methods, rescuers looked for local help to lift the seemingly immobile rock off the young boy’s leg. Chris thought quickly and drove a nearby forklift onto the beach and elevated the boulder long enough to bring the boy to safety. Everyone in Pacific Beach is grateful for Chris’ quick thinking and his heroic efforts!
